Linking Multiple PSA Companies to a single Microsoft 365 Tenant for Billing
Sync 365 supports linking multiple PSA companies to a single Microsoft 365 tenant. This is useful when different customer entities or business units are managed separately in your PSA but share a common Microsoft tenant.
To map multiple PSA companies to one Microsoft 365 tenant:
- Log into your Sync 365 account.
- Navigate to Companies.
- Click Add Company.
- Enable the toggle: “Show already added tenants”.
- Select the PSA company to link and choose the already-added Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Click Add to save.
- Repeat the steps for each additional PSA company you want to link to the same tenant.
You will now see multiple PSA companies linked to the same Microsoft tenant. Each PSA company can have its own license mapping rules.
Important: Apply license filters to avoid overlap
- Each PSA company must apply a unique filter to the license set (e.g., by Office, Department, City, or State).
- Because the companies are separate, they are unaware of each other's assigned licenses. Overlapping filters will result in duplicated license entries or billing errors.
- For guidance on using license filters, refer to this article: Filter license by Office, Department, City, or State.
