This page is to provide some best practice guidelines on how to name your billing profiles and how this comes together with Microsoft NCE.
In Sync 365 we use billing profiles as a link to the product/service in your PSA.
This allows us to use the correct SKU for the correct product to bill your customers the correct price.
With Microsoft's introduction of NCE, this has added some extra complications that mean you need to have multiple profiles for a license to accommodate the various ways it can be billed.
For a typical MSP, you will generally need the following versions for a Microsoft License:
If you do not use one of these terms i.e. annual commitment paid annually, you do not need to make a billing profile for this.
If you have Non-Profit/NGO customers, then you will also require a NFP/NGO version of these.
In this example we will show what a best practice set up may look like for 3 different Microsoft licenses.
We will look at Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Office 365 E3 and Managed User - Full Support.

Annual Commit, Monthly Payments

Office 365 E3

There may only be one of these options if you just provide a single price point for it.
