Getting Started with Sync 365

Getting Started Overview

Welcome to Sync 365! We're thrilled to have you join us. Sync 365 was created to save you time, keep your customer agreements up to date, and simplify your daily operations.

Once you set up and connect your customer licenses to your PSA (Professional Services Automation), Sync 365 will:

  • Refresh all licenses and configured features (e.g., usernames, contacts, filters, custom licenses) every day.

  • Sync changes/updates to your PSA, updating only the items that have changed daily.

  • Send alerts to your configured notification address.

What Sync 365 Will Do for You

After you've set up and configured Sync 365, it will:

  1. Sync license counts for your clients' Microsoft 365 to agreements - daily.

  2. Sync adds or removes licenses from Microsoft 365 to agreements, including pro-rated charges if enabled.

  3. Allow you to set up multiple billing profiles for different licenses.

  4. Notify you of any Microsoft 365 licenses not linked to a billing profile.

  5. Show your clients the users  assigned to licenses on their invoice.

  6. Create custom licenses to bill for a range of different items such as:

    • Managed Users

    • Managed Support

    • Email Backup

    • Endpoint Security

    • Various Azure AD-based options

This guide will walk you through the setup, configuration, and getting Sync 365 up and running smoothly.
