Tenants have been removed alert
If we detect that one of your tenants has been removed from your partner center and you have the notification enabled, we will send you a notification that a tenant has been removed from your partner center.
To prevent a Microsoft partner relationship issue from incorrectly cancelling all the licenses for this tenant, we require that you log in and confirm the tenant should be removed.
This allows for a situation where your partner relationship has been broken, but they are still an active client and the partner relationship needs to be fixed.
This way we will not cancel the licenses until it is confirmed that the tenant is now gone.
Managing Removed Tenants
When you receive the notification for this you need to log in and either confirm or deny the tenant.
- Log into the Sync 365 app (https://sync.s365l.com)
- Select Tools and Logs> Logs
- Select the "Removed Tenant Log"
- Here you will see a list of any tenants that have been detected as removed from the partner center.

- If the tenant is meant to have been removed, click on the Tick this will do the following.
- Set any mapped licenses to update in the next run - This will cancel any active licenses.
- Remove the tenant from your tenant list so they will not show up to add as an Office 365 tenant.
- You should then go to your company list and delete this added company so it does not count towards your bill
- If there is an issue with the tenant connection and you have fixed it or the relationship click on the X to remove this tenant from the removed tenant log.
- This will remove the tenant from the removed tenant log.
- If the tenant is still missing from the partner center, it will get re-added and you will be notified again.
